The Richmond Fellowship of New South Wales (RFNSW) is a community non government organisation (NGO) and is a leading provider of community-based mental health support and rehabilitation services throughout metropolitan, regional, rural and remote New South Wales. Our objective is to support people with a mental illness, and people with a disability, who have complex needs and experience significant social disadvantage, to live independently in the community and to achieve their life goals.
We are seeking an experienced Receptionist/Administration Support Officer to join our Head Office located in Homebush. This is an initial 12 month appointment, with possible extension working full-time Monday – Friday.
Working as part of the Administration Support team and reporting to the Administration Manager, you will provide a full range of administrative support to keep the office running efficiently so you need to be a multi-tasking extraordinaire!
You will be responsible for the daily running of the reception area including, handling incoming calls, greeting visitors, coordinating and setting up for meetings, maintaining the database, managing incoming and outgoing mail, arranging couriers, printing and ordering supplies. You will also be required to take on other general administration duties as and when required.
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a similar position and a sound knowledge of Word, Excel and Powerpoint. You will have also have excellent interpersonal skills together with a positive disposition and a positive attitude towards people with a mental illness or disability. In addition, you will know how to problem solve, be a considerate team player and have an acute eye for detail. Essential to this role is an exceptional telephone manner. You will possess a current Australian Driver’s Licence and have the right to work in Australia.
